If you were going to create a new dance for your community, what topic would it be about?

ReplyDeletei would choose to create a dance related to religion, specifically for worshiping. It would include hand movement which would be lifting of my hands swaying side to side. Also, stepping side to side in a slow manner. This would be a dance used in a worship setting.
If I were to create a dance for my community I would go with agriculture, the reason for that is Kuwait is a very hot and dry piece of land and unfortunately our government for some reason does not care about agriculture, most of our lands in Kuwait are deserted so I think an agriculture dance would educate my community and make them more responsible towards greening our land which we desperately need. Also if my community came together as one and did an agriculture dance it might work as a pressuring tool against the government which may leads to our government finally paying more attention towards agriculture and uses its resources to green our lands. -Jasem
